Not yet — numbering starts at 1 on page 1. Custom start pages are coming.

Can I skip cover pages?

Not in this version. Split the cover off first, then number the rest.

Which font is used?

A built-in standard font (Helvetica-family). No download or upload required.

Does it work with landscape pages?

Yes. The number is placed relative to the page orientation.

Is Page numbers free to use?

Yes. The Free plan lets you run Page numbers twice a day on files up to 10 MB, no card required. Pro removes the daily limit and raises the size cap to 50 MB.

Yes. Page numbers runs in any modern browser, so it works the same on macOS, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS, iOS and Android — no app to install.

What's the maximum file size?

10 MB per file on the Free plan, 50 MB on Pro and 200 MB on Business. Larger files should be compressed first with the Compress PDF tool.
