Rotate PDF — Frequently asked questions
Can I rotate only some pages?
This tool rotates every page uniformly. Per-page rotation is coming soon.
Which angle should I pick?
90° clockwise fixes pages that landed on their left side; 270° fixes the opposite; 180° flips upside-down scans.
Does rotation change the file size?
Not meaningfully — page dimensions swap but content is copied verbatim.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Yes. Scanned image-based PDFs rotate exactly like text PDFs.
Is Rotate PDF free to use?
Yes. The Free plan lets you run Rotate PDF twice a day on files up to 10 MB, no card required. Pro removes the daily limit and raises the size cap to 50 MB.
Does Rotate PDF work on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android?
Yes. Rotate PDF runs in any modern browser, so it works the same on macOS, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS, iOS and Android — no app to install.
What's the maximum file size?
10 MB per file on the Free plan, 50 MB on Pro and 200 MB on Business. Larger files should be compressed first with the Compress PDF tool.
